Unity was the next track on the circuit and new to many drivers on the circuit. It's a bit bumpy in some areas, but provides a good opportunity to test driver skills and adjustability.
The #20 unloaded fairly fast and with a short practice session, Mark decided not to make any changes until he had a chance to see how the car handled in race conditions. In the heat race, the #20 car started slow, but that was because Mark laid back to let the guys up front sort things out, rather than push the issue too earlier. After a couple laps, Mark started moving up... and in a hurry. Mark finished 3rd and if there were 2 more laps in the heat race he might have finished 2nd.
Confident with the way the car was driving, Team SAR was disappointed when rain brought the evening to an abrupt ending. The rain didn't let up for days and even cancelled the make-up race the following weekend. As a result, everyone was awarded 40 points for coming to the event, and the 3rd place finish in the heat race gave Mark one more bonus point.
