This venue in Sherbrooke had many wrestling shows, mostly when As de La Lutte were touring in the 70s as well as Grand Prix.

When Varoussac (International Wrestling) came for the shows, it was mostly in conjunction with the taping of "Les Étoiles de la Lutte" on TV, where many shows were taped at once. Then, the wrestlers went to do their regular shows at the Palais des Sports. Coincidentally, the security team which supervised the TV shows were employees of the Arena.

The WWF showed there once with a house show in the end of the 80s...

These days, Sherbrooke is rather a dead town for pro wrestling, being rather a cultural destination as well as educational, due to the presence of two universities within their vicinity...

It once hosted the farm team of the Montreal Canadiens in the 80s, even to win the coveted Calder Cup with Patrick Roy in the goals !

Thanks to Bob Legault, who did attend a few tapings of the TV show.
