Below are views of some of the road conditions. These are actually pretty tame. I am accused of putting the best face forward somethimes. I do do that as I recieve a handsome salary from LA Tourism.
Mud is the worst and limestone is next worst. Peagravel is horrible. Aged gravel is best.
Road surfaces change at county/parish lines or state lines in the "civilized" world.
    Out here they change at cattleguards.
Here is one of the many rewards of being out here.
This is why the road is on top of the levee.
When there is no land for camps, houseboats rule. Water level is not a factor.
