Coming down the levee we arrive in the Arnaudville area. Bayou Portage is opposite the Levee on the west side. A bridge allowing a short gravel road to cross allows mortal access to the Corps' off road riding/swimming area.
Four wheelers welcomed. I guess I was, two?
Below is the high ground. Who planned this thing?
Oh, the Corps, gotcha. Just kidding, Admiral.
No slack, this is dumb. A waste of taxpayer's money.  I know not to park my car in a bayou.
That's why they made the levee tall. It floods.
Though there was no sign, I did stop at the water's edge.  I guess I could have continued and sued them?
I hate to mention the obvious but that's a light cruiser, 555 pound road warrior Moto Guzzi. Yea, I abuse her.
She has done the whole levee several times. I take her just to keep the relationship in order.
Here we are at Henderson.
You have to come down to the paved road here as the levee is blocked by I-10.
The next segment is done. Hit the button.
Don't even think about it. Your bike will fall so fast if you do not have knobbies.
