The origin of Brakiss Flashblade

This is the companion to Starting Over, and it relates the story of Alanna's younger brother, Brakiss Jason.  Brakiss undergoes many hardships during his life separated from his family; his story is mainly about how he discovers the love he needs to rebuild his life.
