BRIEF HISTORY: Alanna was three years old when she and her brother were caught in an accidental dimensional merge.  She was stranded on a desert planet where she was adopted by a moisture farm couple and grew up, eventually forgetting about her life before.  She became involved in a violent rebellion against a hostile empire when she was nineteen.  Completely drained and demoralized, Flashblade tried to commit suicide by piloting a one-person ship out into deep space and then blowing out the controls with her blaster.  But instead of vaporizing, the ship's computer caused another dimensional merge which sent her back to Puckworld.  The ship crashed at the base of Twin Beaks.  Fortunately, Steven Flashblade was on his way home that night.  He saw the crash, and rescued Alanna from the destroyed ship, not knowing yet that she was his daughter.  He then took her to the hospital where she awoke.  The doctors soon discovered that she was suffering from memory loss when Canard managed to talk to her.  Canard started calling her "Wildwing" for the way her ship had crashed, and the name stuck.  Canard became Wildwing's best friend.  He taught her hockey, showed her around school, and when her memory came back thanks to Dr. Kramer's treatments, Canard was right there.  Wildwing lived happily with her newfound parents for several years, and was later reunited with her brother.  When the Saurians attacked, she went with Canard to take out Dragaunus.  But the plan was foiled, and Wildwing was captured.  She was later rescued by Duke.  She then went with her friends after Dragaunus through a dimensional gateway.  When Dragaunus released an electromagnetic worm to destroy the ship, Canard gave Drake DuCaine's mask--the mask that allows the wearer to see through the Saurian cloaking devices--and allowed the worm to swallow him into Dimensional Limbo instead of the ship.  Heartbroken, Wildwing held onto the mask and used it only after some hesitation.  She now gives the team's mission to capture Dragaunus highest priority, but also has a mission of her own: Find Canard and get back home.
OVERHEARD: "I'm not cut out to be a leader.  It's too much responsibility."  "Captured three times in one episode, that's gotta be a record."
OVERHEARD ABOUT HER:  "Alright, maybe you don't care what happens to my sister, but I do.  Now, move."--Nosedive
"There's a spark in there.  Right now it only shows in front of the net, but I know it's waiting to come out full time.  But she's gotta make peace with herself first."--Duke
"She treats those for whom she cares like gold, but treats herself like brass."--Grin
"Because you're the best goalie I know.  You'll be able to take anything Dragaunus can throw at you."--Canard
