| Welcome to the Maryland Baton Council ( MBC) of the United States Twirling Association (USTA). The purpose of the USTA Maryland Baton Council is to promote and maintain an interest in baton twirling activites as well as drum and musical sections, color guards, honor guards, and pom teams. We work hard to provide instructions for athletes so that they learn and develop the principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and organization of their time and schedules. We have a lot of exciting things planned this year, including competitions, a scholarship, clinics and workshops, and even parties. The members of the Maryland Baton Council pledge our energy, time and talent. We want to help our twirlers achieve, be the best they can be and accomplish everything they desire from the sport of baton twirling. |
