Things I really like about Germany:
1. There are beautiful walking trails through the woods and fields 2. There is so much history here...200 years old is nothing here usually it's more like 2,000 years 3. They preserve their old buildings 4. They love dogs here. You can take them into restaurants, museums, even the shopping malls. 5. We are close to so many other countries to visit and experience 6. There is a wine festival almost every weekend in a small town in our area in the fall 7. The apple juice here is really, really good. Tastes like you just took a bite out of an apple. 8. I can speak the language a bit....and they can speak English a bit. 9. They have open air markets twice a week in most towns big and small. The vendors are very friendly and Snowball loves it since the sausage vendor gives her a sample when we go to his booth. 10. You can walk or bike almost anywhere you need to go in the area, and all the Germans do exactly that. 11. The yogert and cheese here is really, really good. 12. A good bottle of wine will only cost you about 5 or 6 dollars and the beer is pretty cheap as well. 13. Germans are always right on time. |
