Elinor Frances McKerr 1917 - 2007 (Former long time secretary at MDHS) Elinor passed away peacefully, comfortably and with dignity at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK, on Monday, September 3, 2007 under the very special care of the staff of 5 Medicine and the Palliative Care Team. Born and raised in Toronto, Elinor married Bruce in 1941 and lived the happiest years of her life in Milton. Ont., raising her family, working and enjoying the many good friends and relatives who made Milton so special. In 1982, Elinor and Bruce moved to Saskatoon, SK, where they enjoyed quality years with their two grandsons, attending hockey, baseball, basketball and golf events as vivid spectators. Widowed in 1988, Elinor maintained her home, volunteer activity and family involvement, thoroughly enjoying every event. In 2001, she moved to Luther Riverside Terrace where she made many good friends who supported her until her hospitalization. Elinor leaves a family who enjoyed her presence, especially her sense of humour. Her daughters Lynn Gee (Saskatoon) and Joy McKerr (Victoria); grandsons Loren/Nicole Gee (Calgary) and Brennen/Melissa and Ellie Gee (Saskatoon) will miss her greatly.
