The Ninja's 5 Favorite Punk Bands
1. NOFX
Fat Mike and the guys have been the most consistant punk band ever.  They've been approached by MTV, VH1, and radio stations from coast to coast... and told them all to go to Hell.  The've never sold out, they've never changed their music, and they've never stopped having fun.  And they've been doing it for over 20 years.

On top of that, their music is GOOD.  They got me started in punk music.  They're the godfathers of punk and are the perfect blend of modern punk and original punk that was started by The Ramones and Sex Pistols.
Doped up on valium, just like cousin Vicky.

2.  MxPx
No band EVER can pump up a crown like MxPx.  I know this because I saw them live.  And, yes, it kicked ass.  As far as I know, MxPx was the first pop-friendly band to stay popular with the true punk audience.

Catchy songs (Responsibility), satire-filled lyrics (My life story), and true punk roots (Punk Rawk Show) have been the core of MxPx since they day they started... and it works.  MxPx remains one of the best bands out there for the sole fact that they enjoy the music so much.
How'd they get my Jr. High picture?
Album to check out:  Ten Years and Running
In all honesty, I don't know much about this group at all.  What I do know, though, is that this is their debut album.  They're more pop-friendly then most punk bands.  They have many catchy songs that are easy to sing along to and are really fun.  Because this is the debut album, I'm expecting many moreyears of great music from the  Riddlin' Kids.

My favorite songs are Here We Go Again and I Feel Fine, although the entire cd is great and worth your time.
3.  Riddlin' Kids
I shouldn't have to say anything, that hurts!
Album to check out:  hurry up and wait
4.  Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies
Goofy name, I know.  However, they're one of the best bands out there.  Why?  Because it's comprised of members of NOFX, Lagwagon, Swingin' Utters, and No Use For A Name.

Since they are all in their own bands anyway, they came together for the sole purpose of haveing even more fun.  How do they do this?  They don't perform their own songs.  They do covers of Broadway songs (Somewhere over the Rainbow), 1970's hits (Leaving on a Jet Plane), and even some Paul Simon songs (I Am a Rock).
That's a nice table
Album to check out:  (All of Them)
I have never seen any band enjoy their "job" and have as much fun on stage as Home Grown.  They constantly joke around and insult every woman in their audience.  They talk almost as much as they perform their songs.

If you're looking for some funny funny songs with the occasional serious moment, Home Grown is your band.  This is the only punk band that I would recommend to any and everyone.  I've even let my Grandmother listen to them.
5.  Home Grown
Once again, someone got ahold of my school picture
