She went from a skinny, dirty little ragamuffin to a saucy, feisty, sleek cat. On July 9,1995, she gave birth to five healthy kittens. She became a lioness with them: very protective and loving. We adopted out four of them, and kept one, our beloved Jasper.
Shadow was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2003. She was given two or three months to live. She lived for nine months. We are grateful that this cancerous tumour never bothered her. She remained perky, playful and happy up until the very end.
We will miss her terribly, but are satisfied that she had a very happy and contented life with us.
