Grammar and Usage Links and Notes PROJECT

Here are a number of sites with links to English language exercises. To make this a more useful resource, as you explore these links, when you come across a useful exercise (for grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or whatever), SEND ME THE LINK! The email address is mdmorrissey@uni-kassel.de. (The easiest way to do this in Internet Explorer is to right click on the main part of the page--not on a picture or advertisement--then on "Properties," then select and copy the Address (URL) and paste it into an email to me.) Please include the following information:

  1. the URL or link (clicking on this should bring up the precise page you are referring to)
  2. key word (what the exercise practices, e.g., prepositions, tenses, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, sentence structure, etc.)
  3. level of difficulty (in your opinion, for Beginners, Intermediate, or Advanced)
  4. brief description or comment (tell me if you want your name mentioned)

The point is to gradually substitute the list of general, mixed links below with links to specific exercises (or other language activities), identified by key word, like this:
