| OvD training in Sweden (Sept 2004) |
| After summer vacation, our whole class was sent to Revinge in Sweden. We did two weeks of training there. Originally, we were supposed to have this training in England, but because of some expected strikes there, we were sent back to Sweden. In two weeks, we went through all kinds of different scenarios. Fires, car crashes, radioactive leaks and other hazmats. Throughout the training, the scenarios got more and more bizarre. The pictures below will give some idea of the things we did. |
| Most days were really nice. On this day, we got some rain. The assignment here was: go find the gold at the end of the rainbow. |
| Here I am in charge of the whole show. A train had hit a car and I had to solve it. |
| Yes, it was hard work. |
| The second week got a bit more realistic. Real police officers joined our training. In this scene, some of our class played hooligans who prevented the fire fighters to do their job. |
| Of course there were plenty of victims to be rescued. Sometimes they were dolls................... |
| ............And the next time....... it was me. But don't worry, after the exercise was over, I suddenly came back from the dead. |
| Two weeks full of excitement. And it payed off. Most of our class passed the exam in one go. A few unfortunate ones have to do it once again, but I'm sure they'll pass with flying colors that time. |

| And in between all the fire fighting, I participated in a 10k women's race in Stockholm. Here I am together with Sofie and Lynn. |
