I must mention that a major reason I am able to study in Canada, is that I was born here, and therefore am a Canadian citizen.
If you do not hold Canadian citizenship, it is
extremely difficult to enter medical school here. The
reason is that the Canadian government and its
tax-payers pay for most of the cost of medical
education in Canada. As a result, most students who
are selected are Canadian citizens. In fact, at my
school, it is mandatory to be a Canadian citizen before you can apply.
My advice is to check all the Canadian medical schools
to see if they require Canadian citizenship. You can
access their web-sites through my site; my site has
links to all the English-speaking Canadian medical schools.
