My honest answer: I don't know. A year ago, I would
have said that the GPA isn't so important; now, I'm not so sure.
Right now, I think the pre-requisite GPA is the most important
hurdle of all, because most medical schools do
weed people out based on their marks. Because of that,
several people I know this year were not offered
interviews, but rather received automatic rejection
letters, because they failed to meet the GPA
threshold. This will vary with each individual medical school.
Because of this, your MCAT score might not even come into play.
Perhaps your best bet is to contact the individual
medical schools that you are interested in attending.
