MDR Anglers | We in MDRA love Fishing for all types of saltwater game fish. Marlin, Halibut, Bass, Yellowtail, Dorado, Wahoo, White Sea Bass and many other ocean fish. The Halibut Derby we host has raised enough money to take over 1000 city kids fishing on the ocean this year! Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles California is home to one of the largest man made marinas for pleasure boats and fishing boats. The Boat Launch Ramp is large and has good docking facilities. This web site is for the fishing community of Marina Del Rey and the Saltwater Fishing Club Marina Del Rey Anglers, Inc. Our MissionTo promote the sport of fishing and to be champions of conservation and good sportsmanship. Examples of how we do this would be our Youth Fishing Program and our Fish Grow Out Pen. MDR Anglers were early supporters of Tag and Release and efforts to ban gillnets in near-shore waters. PS We have a really good time doing this as a fun fishing club.
