Son of Thengel; the seventeenth King of Rohan and last of the Second Line. He led the Rohirrim at the Battle of the Hornburg, and was slain defending Minas Tirith in the Battle of the Pelennor. He was succeeded by his nephew, Éomer.

Grima Wormtongue

The counsellor of Théoden King of Rohan, who acted as a spy of Saruman to keep the country of Rohan weak. After the destruction of Isengard by the Ents, he accompanied Saruman northward to the Shire.
