Mommy's duedate with me was October 14th, 1999. The day came and went
and I still hadn't arrived. Mommy went for a bio physical profile on
Monday the 18th and all looked well. She left the ultrasound and went
to her O/B appointment where the doctor scheduled her to be induced
on Friday the 22nd. Everyone changed their schedules so that they
would not be busy on the day I arrived except....

Mommy woke up on Thursday morning at 8am with a cramping sensation
across her abdomen, when she felt it again 8min later she sat down
to time some more. When she had 6 more that were only 5 min apart she
took my sister Cailey to nanna's and called Daddy at work. Daddy came
home at 9:15 and took mommy to the hospital.

Mommy was already 4-5cm dilated when she got there, and the contractions
were getting stronger. Nana Pam, Nanny and my Aunt Lindsay arrived
around noon to help mommy and give her support along with Daddy, a nurse
and a midwife. At 1:30 Mommy felt like pushing but she was only 9cm
dilated and still had an upper lip of cervix.

After another hour of intense contractions the doctors checked mommy to
find that I was still facing upwards and hadn't turned around to come
down the birth canal. Mommy was given an epidural at 9 1/2cm dilation so
that she could have a break from the contractions and relax. She went to
sleep for a bit and when she woke up I was already crowning. Mommy pushed
for half an hour and I arrived at 3:48pm, weighing 7lbs 6ozs and measuring
20 1/4inches. Mommy didn't have an episiotomy and had no stitches either.
