| Pilot was Bred to Rose who produced two pups, one Hanna was short legged(TRT) the other pup Pe-tree(RT) was long legged. This sparked a debate. Since Pe-tree was drop dead gorgeous, great attidue, drive, and conformation, should he be fixed cause he came from two teddy parents or should he be placed in a rat terrier breeding program. We were critized by many for our decision to keep and use Pe-Tree at our kennels. But to each his own. We spent many months deciding who would be the best canidate to breed to Pe-tree. After much debate we choose Lar-Mon's Chieseled in Stone a pup out of Casper and Bailey. On May 8th 2002 pe-tree and casey had 2 boys and 2 girls born. All four pups turned out to be stunning and all Rat Terriers. Knowing the background we decided to keep two of the pups, Lar-Mon's little foot's Ducky and Lar-Mon's Little foot's Cera. One pup went to a pet home, and the other pup went to a good friend John Chance in TX this way we have close ties to each pup. We are very proud of what Pe-tree accomplished with his first litter. We will be starting Pe-tree's show career in Nov of this year. |
