| Birth Day : -) That was a rainy day, cool wind was blowing . I longed to see summer again. i was celeberating my birth day in one of the hotel in Down town all by myself. i had my dinner and was intoxicated beyond a point. i was somehow trying to push my limits. After the dinner i drove all the way to my sweet home .i reached home and was surprised to see a note on my door .. " we missed you. you have a message from the creator " .Note was Carricatured wih a picture resembilng to that of an angel. i took the note in my hand and curled and crushed under my feet. As the time pass by i was on my way to my bed..i could see the note exactly the same shape how it was, when i saw it for the first time. i saw a hand projecting out and telling me " hold me and walk me to you ". i did hold that hand and i could not feel a warmth in that , ..i could see a girl in front of me. she was with me for a short time,, all she told was about a place of ecstasy where there are no regrets , no love lost , no bank balance and so on.. i was thrilled and also skeptical about what she was telling. i asked her , how do i reach there , do i need money to reach there. she said , not at all you will be in the same way when you were born except with a dying desire to live in this world. i asked her you give this message to all ? and when ? The answer was that this message is given to every one before 13 land marks in the journey of final destination , most of the people who are committed to other's and have loved ones will ignore this. you have some one like that , she asked ? i smiled at her and just nodded my head . i asked her sarcastically , is there any way to stop me from reaching there. she said no , the time span is pre defined . you can not change it not even by the smallest fraction of second. all you can do is , dont remember your birth day. she also said , dont ever try to know the destiny where you are going as it is like a pandora's box. she waived hands at me and dissappeared. i could see her through my window pane moving in chariot of white horses. Since then , i have been travelling to this destiny once in every year on my birth day. Last time when i was on my journey i could see it as a daunting experience. i almost lost all the excitement i had in the begining. i saw a man by the side of me. he was in his late 80's. i asked him, where are you going ? he said , i dont know . all i know is , this is my last day of the journey. i got down at my place , this time there were too many people to board on ..then i rushed towards the gate to ask some one that where this journey ends ??? i could not see any one . but i saw it is written " Destined : Valley of Death ". i was hit by a thunder on my head and could feel that the blood in my vein immobile. it took a while , for me to get back to my normal state ..i was quite in sensible state to understand the fact. Then i remembered her words. All i could do was to erase my birth day from my mind , not to haunt me again. ... Now i don't know when is my Birth day , and i am happy as i was before. why should'nt i ??? Author Eappen Mathew |
