| Likes: Riding, fencing, training with the other soldiers of the royal guard, spending time with Vahn, his mother, and Kamite. As a soldier, Vectrix holds honor, loyalty, strength, and power in very high regard. Dislikes: Always feeling like she has to prove herself because she is a girl and the youngest of the Royal Guard. She also hates Kael, but holds a grudging respect for her commander. Vectrix also has a burning hatred for traitors as well as any enemy of the Tou royal family. As a soldier, Vectrix has a very hard time excepting defeat from an enemy. She also holds a strong moral standard that if someone doesn’t meet, she does not approve of them. Hobbies: If Vectrix is not training or out riding, than she is helping Vahn’s mother with some chores or just keeping the aging woman company. Dreams: To be the strongest soldier that she possibly can. Lovelife: Vectrix has a crush on Vahn, but she would never admit it, even to herself. Family: Orphan Friends: Vahn and Kamite are Vectrix’s only friends really. Her fellow soldiers she considers her allies, which is almost a closer bond for her than friendship. Other than that, Vectrix has no other friends outside of the guard and she doesn’t have any interest in gaining any. Strengths: Vectrix has worked very hard to condition herself into being the perfect soldier. She is deathly loyal, brave, passionate about her position, and will take orders without a second thought, as long as it does not overstep her moral limits. She is an expert horseman and is deadly with any weapon, but her best is the lance and a rapier. Her fighting style is very fast and she has the speed to back it up. Vectrix, although she can’t except defeat in the battle field, she accepts the fact that she is not the best out there. Because of this, Vectrix is a very astute pupil and tries to get every chance she can to learn from the other soldiers. Weaknesses: Hotheaded and impulsive, Vectrix has a tendency to rush into battle and think about things later. Her temper is absurdly easy to invoke. Her speed is her winning point but her fencing style is not perfected yet and her emotions can cause her to get careless. She is also naively idealistic about life, honor, morals, and what is right and wrong. She will follow orders mindlessly unless they go against her high moral standing, in which case she goes into a bit of mental questioning, which can leave her open. Appearance: Vectrix has wide blue eyes and pink hair that is layered. Her body has a runners build, thin and lithe. She wears a red leather body suit that is armored and over that, she wears black metal armor that is trimmed in red. Personality: Because Vectrix has always feels that she has to prove herself, she is very stubborn and stand-offish. Hot headed, she tends to get into fights when angered; definitely an act first, think later type of person. She does however, hold her position with great respect and tries to do the best she can at it. She has adopted the traditional code of honor for a soldier and she has incorporated it into every aspect of her life. She is very protective of the the Royal Family and will do anything for them. History: Vectrix was just another orphan at one of the smaller orphanages in the Tou capital. The caretaker wasn’t too into the whole disciplinary part of it though, so the girls usually got pushed around by the stronger boys. Vectrix however, quickly got sick of it and started pushing back for the girls. Long being used to being thought as weak and timid like the rest of the orphaned girls, she was always having to prove herself to be someone not to be crossed. It was during the first ten years at the orphanage that Vectrix formed her high moral standing. It was a tradition that when a boy at the orphanage turned fifteen, he would sneak into the Tou Palace and sneak back out. A couple of the boys who wanted to get back at Vectrix for one thing or another saw this as the perfect opportunity. When she turned fifteen they tried to convince her to go. although at first she refused, a few well placed insults and verbal jabs were all it took to get the hotheaded teen jumping over the palace wall. But there was one thing the boys had forgotten to tell her, they had alerted the guard that a pink haired thief was planning on sneaking in that very night to steal the royal jewels. Needless to say, Vectrix found a little more security than she had planned. She made it through the gardens and was about to enter the palace through on of the many hangers before she was spotted. Deciding that trying to out run the whole Tou Royal Guard was not a good thing, she ran into the hanger to look for a place to hide. She was more than a little surprised to discover that she had stumbled right into the housing for the Tou mechas. |
