Appearance:   Seiji is a lean, but muscular, man with long unkept black hair and a handsome face, despite the eye patch he constantly wears. He keeps his hair tied up in a ponytail to kep his long hair out of his face. He frequently wears beige and black shirts with a black over coat. His silk pants are black and made baggy for freedom of movement. With stealth and comport in mind he wears soft soled mocassins. He wears leather foramarm bands to protect his forearms.
Personality: Seiji is a very laid back man who enjoys life and having fun. He's serious when he has to be but otherwise simply sits back and watches things happen. He does not like war or battle, infact finds them distasteful and best avoided. He enjoys the art, disicpline, and spirituality of the martial arts and sword. He is a bit arrogant when facing sword weilding opponents, his only equal having died at the hands of the monster that tor out his right eye.
He occassionally practices with and teaches the other Tou dragon riders in the use of their weapons or how to defend themselves. But normally he simply sits back and watches or goes out wenching. He is steadfastly loyal to the Tou Crown, espcially the King.
History: Seiji is the abandoned son of Owen Oguro D'zir, a mercanary of some renown now long dead, and  Akira Nakamura, a gypsy girl that fell in love with Owen. She abandoned her child on a random door step after becoming pregnant and finding that Owen didn't want to settle down and raise a family.
Gawl, a famed sword master who once served kings and emporers, nearly stepped on the sleeping child the next morning. After reading the small note with the childs name and a explanation for his presence, Gawl spent the next two weeks searching for the family. After completing his fruitless search he finally accepted his fate, raising the son he had never had or really wanted.
Seiji had a realtively happy, but harsh, childhood. Gawl trained him ruthlessly in the sword, survival, and Gawls last job, as defender of the village they lived in. Anim was a small hamlet in Kawa near the foothills of the jagged peaks of the Yawa mountains.
The years passed and Seiji became the aging Gawl's equal and helped defend the village. On one such excursion from the village Gawl and Seiji encountered a demon, not some mere beast from the mountains. This was a creature more then that was easily an match for the old sword master and his apprentice. It was here that Seiji lost his eye and his adoptive father. The demon had esially vanquished Gawl, slapping him aside like a rag doll as it went for the younger stronger man.
Seiji held his own against the assulting demon, until the beast spun unexpectatedly. A jagged wing tip catching his face and tearing his eye cleanly from it's socket. In agnonizing pain, his sword lost as he clutched at his face, he could only watch as the demon reared back to deliver it's death blow.
Seiji rarely says anything about waht happened then or afterward. All that he will say is that Gawl died in his arms and that at some point afterward he 'happened' upon Cearas. He speaks even less about the events leading up to his employ under the Tou crown, which he has loyaly served for two years so far.
Item: Seiji uses a Bokan, wooden or bamboo practice sword,  instead of a normal sword or Katana. It has been carved to imitate an double edged sword Seiji once saw in a market place during his travels. The Bokan has no special powers, Seiji's sword mastery more then compensates for this.
