| Weaknesses: Can't speak anything but Pheo~nai, extremely naive, does not understand emotions or people, does not know evil, hurt by water, and has never seen any people other than the other Phoenix guardians. Appearance: Amara barely reaches five feet in height. She is very slender, weighing no more than 95 pounds, and her body is extremely toned. Amara doesn't have an ounce of fat on her body. She has long red hair that she usually wears braided. Her skin is very pale and she never burns or tans. Amara has lightly brown eyes that have a fiery fierceness in them at times, but at other times they have an extreme childlike innocence. Her eyes sometimes seem to appear older than she is and other times she seems to have the eyes of a child. The girl's eyes also often appear inhuman and at times also appear almost a fiery red. The girl's stance is very tense, as if she were ready to have to fight at any moment. Amara has no care for her appearance at all and is completely unaware of how she looks to others. She has a birthmark of a claw on her right hip. She always wears the same outfit consisting of a long split pink skirt made of pieces of cloth held up by a golden belt, a piece of cloth wrapped around her chest and held in place by golden string and a leather strap that crosses over her chest. She has long red boots with golden decoration and pink socks held in place by a leather strap. On her left arm she has a pink fingerless glove that is held in place by a strap of leather. She has a strap over leather on her left upper arm as well. On her right shoulder she has armor that is connected to the leather strap crossing her chest. She also has armor on her right arm that she can use to block attacks. Around her neck she often wears a pendant of the sun, made of gold and on a leather strap, a symbol of fire. Personality: Amara has two completely different personalities. One is herself as a guardian, when the mecha is threatened at all, and the other is when there is no threat. When there's no threat, the girl is extremely curious. She seems to not understand anything at all really. She is constantly bugging the other Phoenix guardians to tell her about anything and everything and to explain stuff to them. Amara acts very much like a young child who is just getting to know her world. Her childlike innocence shines through when she is like this and her posture totally relaxes. Amara is always trying to learn something new from the few things she has contact with. She has no problem in killing animals for food or protection and is usually the one who hunts for food. As a guardian, the girl is extremely fierce. She will protect the Phoenix mecha from everyone and anyone with her life and kill anyone who tries to get it, even if it is one of the other guardians. She takes her responsibility very seriously as sees guarding the Phoenix mecha as her reason for living. Amara is constantly on guard for anything that is out of the ordinary. With both her personalities, Amara doesn't understand strong emotions such as love and hate at all. She doesn't understand friendship very much either. At times, she seems more like an animal than a human. The girl is very distant and also doesn't seem very human at times. She also has a very intense fear of water and will not go anywhere near a large body of water. History: There is a legend that surrounds the Phoenix mecha of a young girl of mixed races. It is said that the girl is half human, half phoenix. This girl is said to have been created for the sole purpose of protecting the Phoenix mecha. The girl is said to be stuck in a continuing cycle of rebirth, just as the Phoenix is. Whether or not this legend is true is unknown… Much of Amara's history is unknown. She has lived on the island of Mori for her entire life, never once having set food off of it. She just appeared at the shrine one day after the guardian before her disappeared into the woods with a fatal wound from a tiger attack. Little Amara was only five years old when she first showed up at the shrine wearing nothing at all. The birthmark on her hip showed that she was the next guardian. Amara was almost an exact miniature of the guardian she replaced. She was raised at the temple and never learned any language except Pheo~nai. The girl started training as a guardian of the Phoenix mecha from the day she appeared. Item: Amara's sword belong to the previous guardian that she replaced and was given to her after ten years of being at the temple. The long sword is truly a marvel of craftsman ship with the decorations on the blade itself and the intricate guard design. Powers: "Mis Taeme" - After saying this, a protective dome of fire forms around the temple, or area that is being protected. The fire cannot be doused with water and needs no fuel to burn. It is very hot and will completely ignite anything that comes within a foot of it besides Amara. This shield can be penetrated with magic, but Amara constantly replenishes the fire which quickly fixes any holes made in the dome, so only a large burst of magic can get through this shield. The shield is large enough to surround the temple on Mori, leaving a little room for the guardians to not be burned. This takes a lot out of Amara and can weaken her quickly if she's not careful. This dome is much more powerful around the temple than it is anywhere else. |
