Powers: Healing - This is a standard run of the mill healing spell. He is very adept at using it and it works in conjunction with his skills as a doctor.
Shield - This spell is also of standard fair. The spell creates an invisible barrier(or geometric shape if need be) to protect somebody from attack.
Illusion - This spell has been passed down by his family for generations. It is capable of creating very intricate minor illusions. The unique aspect of it is that his family has perfected it to a degree that the illusions are impossible to tell from reality. Also they can create very very large illusions. They have held such an illusion around the entire area of the Unicorn Mecha for nearly a thousand years.
Walk on Water - This spell is actually a simple levitation spell, but when he created it he thought it only capable of levitating himself above water. This is not a flight spell as he can’t lift his person, but merely stop himself from falling. He has found it useful to levitate on water because of the sense of awe and wonder and a subconscious fear it inspires in most humans.
Water Spear - This is a fairly weak attack spell. It manipulates water to form a spear and projects it at someone. This spell also allows Akari to manipulate water for non-violent functions.
Unnamed Power - This is ironically, an attack spell.  Five balls of pure energy form around him and spiral up towards the heavens. They come spiraling back down over his opponent and shoot at the opponent from all sides. Very powerful and very draining, also very rarely used.
