see Lethe to learn more about the history of the dragons, magic, draconians, mecha, and the Dragon Wars. Strengths: Martial Arts, Magic, Speed, and his ability to control the elements of Wind and Water. Weaknesses: Cannot control a mecha nor a dragon. If in a fight with one, his weapons are usless against them as well as heavy armor and if his falcon is killed, so is he. His only weapon against the mecha or dragons is his magic, but other than that, he is a helpless person. Since Fong cares for his friends and family inside, if any one of them is captured or injured, he will do all in his power to help them, even if that means going on a suicide mission. Appearance: Fong is about 5'10" and has pale skin. His face is pointed (like an elf's) and his hair is long and silvery. He always wears a white robe over a blue tunic & pants in public. Also with the robe is a cloak of white. However, at night, when he roams all over the place, he wears only black for obvious reasons. His eyes are eerie and change colors to match his current emotions. Personality: Fong is a very quiet person who never talks or opens up because he knows that if he shows any emotion to anyone, his enemies will use that to their advantage. The only person he talks to most of the time is Lethe, his sister, or his parents, but nobody knows that since they talk when no one is around. When Fong does crack open though, it is only because of an extremely powerful emotion, and the way he channels that feeling has its ways of being expressed… History: Fong was born at the same day, year, and time as Castile was born. The two of them never knew it, but because of this coincidence, both of them can feel the extreme emotions the other is feeling. If Castile is feeling great sadness, Fong will feel it as well. Fong cares for his family, but outwardly, he shows coldness towards them and everyone else around him. Any action taken against his family, Lethe, or Ryuu, however, had best be for benign reasons as Fong will take it upon himself to exact full revenge upon the attacker, often leaving the attacker with either no genitals, tongue, or other parts of his body. When Fong was born, the Dragon Mage at the time paid a little "visit" to the royal family unannounced. For obvious reasons, the powerful Mage made sure that the rest of the castle was sleeping before turning to Fong. Placing his finger upon Fong's forehead, the Dragon Mage muttered the words, "Let the prophecy be fulfilled. By the powers of the celestial moon and autumn twilight, this boy shall have control over the winds and waters, his martial arts shall not stem from Shinwa, but from a different universe, his cousin, my future apprentice, shall share the empathetic bond that only death shall break." When the Dragon Mage left and the castle awoke, everyone acted as if nothing had happened... When Fong was ten years old, he found an old man being accosted by the local ruffians. Being the prince that he was as well as the anthropologist, Fong immediately ran into the fray, placed a few punches here and there and, to his amazement, managed to scare them off. When Fong turned around, however, he found that the old man was really a master of the martial arts, except his fighting skills were different than that of the rest of Shinwa. Fong never liked the heavy swords or staffs that the Shiro captains tried to make him use. He prefered smaller, harder to detect things. Secretly hiding the old man in a cave, Fong asked him to share his knowledge of martial arts and chi. For the next ten years, Fong trained in secret under him, learning how to use needles, cloth, and string to hurt or kill his enemies. Every time he got home, when asked about his injuries, Fong would just reply that he was exploring the forest and he got hurt. It worked everytime. The King and Queen of Shiro were too busy trying to defend their home from Tou. Unfortunately, disaster struck. When the Ryuu arrived at Shiro, Fong had no idea she was his cousin nor did he know about the empathetic bond between the two of them. All he knew was that one day, while sparring with his master, he suddenly felt a wave of sadness and anger. This feeling was so great that he flew into a blind rage and killed his master, thinking he was trying to kill him. Realizing what he had done, Fong went into seclusion for one month, only coming out of the cave at night, to take care of the local ruffians. Of course, he still did not know what brought the rage up. Until one day... It happened when Fong was looking through his master's journals. It was at this time when he found a book on bonds between a mage and his familiar. Since Fong was also a mage and he never really got along with mechas, he kept reading a book when he came upon a section labeled, "Bonds Between Humans." Reading, Fong discovered that when someone was born the same day, time, and year as one of his relatives, an empathetic bond is formed. |
