marrying a handsome prince Lovelife: None Family: Mother- Queen Sumire, Father- King Bob, Brother- Kamite Friends: Mnemosyne's only friend is someone she calls Kinetra who everyone assumes is her imaginary friend Strengths: Mnemosyne appears to act just like a 9 year old girl, but she is different. Occasionally she will go into prophetic trances and as she gets older, the trances happen more often. Mnemosyne also has very rare instance were her eyes turn a feral yellow color and her body becomes surrounded by a glowing blue aura. When like this, Mnemosyne gains amazing magical powers. Weaknesses: Although 13 years of age, Mnemosyne acts only nine. Like any nine years old, she is not strong, and is afraid of little things. She also can't remember any of her prophetic dreams and is not in control when she goes into the magical trances. Appearance: Mnemosyne looks like a normal thirteen year old with silver-gray hair and dark eyes. She is short, with large eyes and small hands. She enjoys wearing dresses in her favorite color, crimson red. Personality: The princess is commonly thought to be insane by most of the court. She constantly hears voices, who she refers to as Kinetra, and suffers from violent mood swings. Mnemosyne also acts six years younger than what she actually is. She clings to her family and friends as if afraid of something that the rest of them cannot see, and although Kinetra is her best friend, he frightens her when he "gets mad at people." When Mnemosyne goes into her magical trances, she becomes a completely different person. Her voice gains an odd tone to it, and she is completely merciless. She hates everyone and is extremely hostile. History: Mnemosyne was a perfectly normal girl until she disappeared from her escort one day in a forest just within Hora when she was three years old. While in the forest, the little princess met up with a creature that was nothing more than a living ghost. The creature was a dragon, the last of the great dragon lords that the Dragon Mages destroyed hundreds of years ago. The ghost introduced himself as Kinetra and offered the girl a deal. If she would share her body with him, then she would never have to be alone. Lost and scared, Mnemosyne agreed, and the dragon entered her body. A search party looked all night for her but she returned to the castle on her own the next day. She claimed that her new friend Kinetra helped her back. For a child her age, an imaginary friend was normal, so nobody took any note of it, but Kinetra did not pass away as the princess aged. At age 6, Mnemosyne had her first prophetic vision; at age 9, she went into her first magical trance while in a fight with another child, who she killed. Frightened by this, Mnemosyne latched onto her family for support and guidance. Her mother scorned her, thinking that her daughter was simply insane. Her brother was the most caring of all, and Mnemosyne looks up to her brother as her shining knight. Mnemosyne has not matured a day since then. Powers: For being one of the royal family, Mnem is almost absurdly lacking in the way of power. The only thing she really can do is have prophetic visions; however, when she goes into her odd trances, Mnemosyne gains magic that could rival the Dragon Mage. These trance periods tire the girl out greatly and although they tend to be short, they get longer each time it happens. |
