Personality: Considered to be a scheming, conniving bitch, she had a deadly cold exterior. The masterming behind most plots, she had weaved her way into every layer of the court and commands more loyalty than the King. Most of this is due to the fact she hates the king with a burning passion. She generally loves nothing, save perhaps her son, and an exiled warrior of Tou.
History: One of the most beautiful women of all time, she was born into a life of power. The result of the king’s affair with the High Priestess of Tou, she was originally sent to be a second generation Priestess. Circumstances changed, however, when no other heir was provided, and she was made crown princess. The king gave her everything she desired and allowed her to do as she pleased, so she grew up learned in much of the world and with a free will the rivled the winds. The entire kingdom knew her as a bright and happy girl. On her sixteenth birthday, she was out riding when she happened upon a young man named Shukumei Masurao. It was love at first sight and soon the two were lovers. They kept their love a secret, planning to elope after the king had passed away. However, during this time, the King discovered their plans. He becamed furious and exiled the man, deciding to marry her to a knight in his leagons. Sumire and Shukumei decided to run away to Shiro, but they were caught and Shu was sentenced to death. The same day Sumire was married to the Bob and made Queen. She bares a deep hatred for the king because of this fact, and has been bitter and cold ever since. She learned how to manipulate people during the time in which she carried her son, and carefully wraps the strings of the kingdom around her little finger.
