Appearance: Tall, well muscled, short silver hair, sea gray eyes, fair skin
Personality: A proxy like boy, he lives for a good time. Suave and debonair. He has an air many come to love. He is also a brute in battle. However, his true manner, is one of a kind boy, who loves his mother (in truth!) When not around others, he often thinks and listens to the sound of rain. He holds a deep heart, but has extended it toward few people: Kamite, the princess, Vectrix, and his mother. He holds a deep hatred for the King and the Queen.
History: Born the only child of a beautiful maiden, he had, what seemed to be, no father. However, he is really the bastard son of the King of Tou, though none know this save his mother and the Queen. When he was five, he was taken from his mother by the queen in a jealous rage. She had originally intended to kill him, but the King got a hold of him first, and placed him in the royal stables under the care of Devoni, who was a knight at the time. He was raised as a page, and the prince’s whipping boy, and gained a deep hatred for the royal house until he was ten. He was then sent to be the prince’s swordmate. At first, the relationship was tedious and rough (they fought many a time) but, in the end, they became best friends and have been together ever since. On his fifteenth birthday, he was given the rank of knight, a holy blade named Helios Magnios (a gift from Kamite), and no longer allowed to live with the prince. So he was sent to live in the bunks. There he met Vectrix, another young knight who was his bunk mate (no ideas, please). He found her personality grand, and soon, they too, were good friends. On his seventeenth birthday, while wandering the village, he happened upon his mother, now old, fragile, and near death. He found out that the queen had allowed this to happen. He was heartbroken by this. He took his mother to the royal wards, and had Kamite place her there for treatment. Many grew fond of her, including Vectrix (who seemed fond of Vahn in all ways).
Vahn ultimately wishes to win the war and make a title for himself so that he can marry well and have land like a noble (his mother’s wishes).

Healing Wind - A poor solider healing spell which is used to heal minor wounds. It cannot be used, however, on the person who casts it.
Asutoraru vain - (Astral Vine) A spell which enchants a sword, axe, or other weapon with magic. A weapon enchanted in this way makes it possible to deal damage to mecha. However, this enchantment is only temporary, and it uses will. The caster must meditate for an hour before hand, and rest a day afterward.
Lightning - A middle solider attack, it uses a bolt of lightning to attack one foe. It can be cast many times in battle, but has little to no effect against a mecha.
Thousand Blades of Death - an inner guard spell, one of the few solider spells applicable to mecha. It is a limit attack, meaning that the user must absorb a critical hit in order to use it, which is dangerous. However, it has incrediably lethal potential to both the caster and the foe. It deals a thousand hits, just before the user (normally) passes out.
Helios Magnios - (mighty heaven) an advanced blade attack that combines the life force of the user with their blade. It is an incrediably powerful critical hit attack, and, unlike Kamite’s version, it uses the actual holy sword to cast. Thus, it can produce death blows without nearly as much damage to the caster. In preperation, the caster must only meditate for an hour before hand. The spell can last for an entire battle, until the wielder’s will dissappears. The only flaw is that it can only be used once a day.

Destroy all before me here with your power...Giga Slave!) - By using the Helios Magnios, this spell calls upon the dark lord’s power. It is a spell only known to the wielder of the holy sword. It channels all the wielder’s will into magic energy. Only a person with an incrediably strong will could ever hope to cast it completely. If a will is too weak, the person can be incapacitated or even killed without the spell having even been finished. The spell itself is a breaking summon attack. It calls forth the Lord of Nightmares and Chaos to destroy. Once summoned, the Lord of Nightmares will use dark energy to destroy anything within at least five mile radius. However, this, in many cases, includes the wielder of the sword. Only the strongest of souls can even hope to control the power, and only royal blood has ever been found to do such.
