Irregular Warfare School
Urban Sniper Hide Operations Course is a Level 2 advanced sniper course open to members of the MILITIA 5th Division MI whom have passed Sniper School Mecosta County Michigan 9th Brigade 5th Division basic sniper course.
Course subjects include:
Psychological & physical factors of operating in isolation & enclosed environments.
Clothing & equipment for urban operations
Use of cover story
Employment & tactics,
Selecting urban hides OP`s primary & secondary positions
Entering & exiting urban hides & OP`s
Individual & team duties routines
Observation log, range cards & sniper logbooks
Range estimation & angle shooting
Shooting through glass, walls, barriers & other mediums
Target detection selection
Short - long term use shift changes brief procedures
Photographic & video surveillance equipment use in ongoing information gathering.
Point, route, area, activities patterns of individual(s) & group(s)
Communications & reporting
Missson planning targets of opportunity & preplanned target(s)
Hide security team & hide protection SOP`s, without support, with support security extraction force, primary, secondary & mobile
Escape plan primary & secondary
Extraction plan primary & secondary
First aid, wounded, death of team members & or capture & prosecution
SERE urban environments

Basic urban sniper hide operations course is conducted over a 4 hour & 24 hour period. Advanced urban sniper hide operations course is conducted over a
2 - 7 days period with a preplanned target mission scenario & is a prequisite for attending Sniper Section Leaders Sniper Employment Officer Course(s).
The purpose of the unorganized militia is to protect life, liberty, community, local, state, & national infrastructure & to assist the lawful authorities of the state & nation in time of crisis.
MILITIA Mecosta County MI
9th Brigade 5th Division is compromised of able bodied citizens 18 - 60 years of age from Mecosta County MI.
All members are required to purchase & maintain their own rifles, ammo, uniforms & equipment. Members attend one 4 hour meeting & one 24 hour meeting a month at Level 1 & 2
