This is one of the many ways you can request that your spirit guides assist you in learning. Cleanse your area with incense, if you use it, and white light. Surround yourself with protective white light. Before you enter your medtiation, ask your guides to be with you. Enter your meditative state. Walk through a beautiful meadow taking time to savor the beautiful scenery. Come to a huge oak tree with a wonderous canopy and massive trunk. Knock on the trunk 3 times. A door way will appear. Through the doorway is a stair case leading straight up, into the tree. You have come to learn from your Spirit Guide. You must enter a deeper meditative state to become more aware and open to the information you may receive. To do this you will count the steps as you move upward into the tree. Know that with each step upward, you are moving deeper into the meditation, becoming more aware. Count as you go up the steps, 1 through 13. At the top of the staircase is another door. This door is thick and heavy. Very old. Knock 3 times. Your spirit guide will answer the door and admit you into a circular room. This room may be encased with books, it may have blank walls, etc There is a heavy wooden table and chairs in the middle of the room. Sit down. Your guide will sit down opposite of you. Tell your guide why you've requested such a formal meeting (ie: Ask your guide what lesson he/she would have you realize now, OR Ask what past life experiences bear weight on issues you're now trying to solve in your life, etc..... The guide may open a book and set it before you, images may appear on the walls, may start talking to you, or you may just "know" what you've come to know. When you're finished, thank your guide and stand to leave. Walk back through the door. As you move down the 13 steps you will become more conscious and aware of the physical surroundings once again, but retain the knowledge you need. Count backwards as you descend the staircase, from 13 to 1. When you reach 1, step onto to the ground and become fully awake. |
