1) The first thing I would suggest is to take it one day at a time. Ask the Goddess for guidance and assitance, that you will not think or speak cynically or negatively. You may even want to add a daily morning prayer or affirmation. Something like this: "Loving Mother please fill me this day with positivity and love that I may steer my mind away from cynical and negative thoughts" or "I am one with Universal Perfection. The loving and serene energies of the Lady fill me this day, and lead my mind away from cynisism and negativity. Fill me with your Grace Lady! So Mote it Be!"
2) Next, vow to yourself to think BEFORE you speak, for the ENTIRE day. Even if it's just something small like calling to order a pizza. Whenever you feel a cynical or negative thought forming, stamp it out with a big white X. Let this X immediate halt that thought process and dissolve it. Practice visualizing the X in your mind and know that it will immediatly halt negative thoughts.
3) Then fill the entire thought, your entire being with a cool calming blue. Whichever shade seems most serene to you. You may want to follow this serenity with a pink, green or yellow signifying love. If you practice this color visualization in meditation (including the white X) a few times until you're fluent with it and can move it along at the speed that you need, then spend one day consciously trying to do it I think you'll notice a difference. From there, just take it one day at a time. |
