2003 - 2004 ALUMNI CAMP
Austin Brooks, Eric Hawkins, Aaron Blubaugh, Michelle Jones, and Emily Kilian attended the 31st Annual Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp.  The camp was held at Camp Tulakogee.  The 2003-04 State FFA Officer Team conducted the camp.  The officer team includes: Kelly Barnes - president, Chancey Redgate - secretary, Chase Turner - reporter, Dallas Krout - central vice president, Travis Jett - northwest vice president, Shanelle White - southwest vice president, Amber Rose - southeast vice president, and Tallie Stewart - northeast vice president.  This years theme was "Highway FFA...Destination Success".  Day One was "Plan the Journey".  The students learned to plan their future by remembering their past experiences and memories.  The kickoff speaker was Bill Cordes.  Day Two was "Tollbooths, Intersections, and Milemarkers".  FFA members learned how the build character and set goals.  The main speaker was Dr. Al Snyder.  Day Three was "Drivers Wanted".  FFA members participated in a ropes course where they learned teamwork, communication, decision-making, and trust.  They also reflected on people who have been role models in their life and how they can use what they have learned from their role models to help them become the drivers in their life. The keynote speaker was Sam Glenn.  Michelle Jones sang the National Anthem during the Retiring of Colors, which was followed by the Camp Banquet. Day Four was " Enjoy the Ride".  Students were told to trust themselves and live a full life.
