Hello my name is Justin Rogers. I am the new Agriculture Education Instructor and FFA advisor at Medford High School. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor of science in Agriculture Education in 1997 and I am currently looking to complete a Masters Degree in the near future. I completed my student teaching at Amber-Pocasset High School. While attending OSU, I worked under Mr. Kim Brock at the OSU purebred swine teaching and research herd. While at OSU I also participated on the Livestock Judging team. I had the honor of being the High Individual in Senior College at the 1996 National Barrow Show in Austin, MN. I was also named as the outstanding judge on the 1996 team. Before transferring to OSU I attended NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma, I was a graduate of distinction and judged livestock on the 1994-95 National Champion Junior college team. I graduated from Hennessey High School in 1993, where I was an active member of the FFA and 4-H. Before coming to Medford I worked for four and a half years as a County Agent with the Texas Cooperative Extension Service where I received the outstanding young agent award from my peers in the North Texas District 4. I am excited to be the new Agriculture Instructor at Medford High School. |
