My teaching and research interests are in contemporary music and the experimental intermedia arts, from theory and composition to performance and reception, with particular emphasis on issues which connect music and art to the study of culture and technology. I am especially interested in the relation between the questions that composers and artists pose through their practice, and traditional issues in art and music making. I am currently working on an exploration of new approaches to linking texts, images and sounds in experimental intermedia performance installations. I teach courses in experimental music, intermedia arts and interdisciplinary topics in the arts and culture.
