Creative Writing Seminars

The Writing Department proudly presents the spring semester's series of brown bag luncheon readings, each featuring a Writing Department teacher and a creative writing student reading from their creative work.

All luncheon readings are held from 12:00-12:30 in the Community Room at the top floor of New Main, on the following Wednesdays: January 30, February 27, and April 10. Mark your calendars now and join us for a pleasant, informal lunch break.

Our first brown bag luncheon reading features, on January 30, features Helen Correll, Writing Department professor, along with one of our creative writing students.

On Friday night, April 12, the Writing Department will be presenting the second in its 2001-2002 series of Friday Night Writing Seminars, a panel presentation on the topic "Keeping Current with Technical Communications."

The panel presentation will be held in Founders Hall Entry, from 7:00-8:30 and will four speakers. Each speaker (tba) will make a brief presentation and then we'll open up the floor to questions and answers.
