| A girl gets hit by lightning. She falls down. A boy gets out from below a balcony and is drenched, watching her. He gets over, kicks her body and runs off. The girl gets up and hobbles home.. Many things are happening in the world that are too terrible to be b elieved by those not affected. People being tortured until they can't stand or move as they are too weak. Gabriel sees all these in her "visions" and she writes these down in her diary. Telling nobody of what she has seen. She was sent to the hospital her parents being sent to jail and taken away. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened and now they are being persecuted? She is looking at a doctor who looks more insane than her, "why am I here?" she asks. "You tell me," he says leaning forward. They stare at each other. He reads out a folder saying all these fabricated stuff that she did but had no memories of doing and saying. She wakes up in a field. She runs to the nearest shops and goes in and asks for their help. She realises she is naked and they call the police who arrests her as they thought she was crazy. She tells the police about the stuff that has happened to her. However they say they know no such people, such as her parents or her doctor or the hospital. THEY DO NOT EXIST, they say. They gave her plain clothes as they took pity of her and some "medication" The medication they gave knocked her out. She again wakes up..another unfamiliar room. Next to her is a sillouhette of a very tall old lady, about seven feet tall. Her eyes are bright yellow and her hair was spars and white. The lady hands over her a drink. "Drink it" she commanded. "Where am I?" "You know, you've been here before." "I'm at home. Where are my parents?" "I said drink!" Gabriel took a sip and found it was delicious. Though just water. She drank it all. "They are not here, they have been displaced." "What do you mean?" "You ask too many questions for such a pitiful young girl." The old lady walks out of the room. Gabriel gets up from the floor, it's dark it must be day time outside but the curtains are heavy. She noticed someone was breathing loudly. It wasn't her. She sees a shadow of a man sitting on a chair. "Who am I?" he asks casually. "How should I knjow? I can't even see you." "YOu should know, you know me bertter than i know you, Gabriel." "I swear i do not know you." "Then what is this?" He throws pieces of paper which she recognises as her diary onto the floor. "No one knows about my diary!" "Yes they do, I am sure you know better than I know myself. Your diary is about me." "YOu're the one that has done all of these? The cruel things I"ve seen in my visions?" "Think power absolute. I got it without my own desire." She picks up the papers of her diary holding it to her chest. He drops a gun onto the floor and kicks it to her. "YOu choose" he says. "Use your power, you or me?" She picks up the gun. "NOW CHOOSE, DIE OR KILL!" She looks at him, she has been through enough. She has halucinated the whole thing. She is still in the hospital. The man she sees is the boy that kicked her while she lay on the ground. She has a gun in her hand. He had given it to her.... "I understand now, what I wrote was about you. You destroyed all I love and believed. Now you want me too?" He stands up walks towards the window as if nothing has happened. "Gabriel, you got to stop blaming me for everything. Once you forgive me and, everyone else, you won't have to stay here anymore no one knows what you are talking about., Though sometimes I like to think I know." "YOu gave me the gun to kill myself or you." "Gabby, that's a carrot, not a gun." He sits down and takes the carrot out of her hands. "You are going to kill me? You took my gun....carrot." He laughs hugs her and says. "Remember before all these happened? How you were hit by lightning? It was me who brought you here. I didn't kill nobody stupid" He sighed, "time to take your medz, I"ll call the nurse." "7 foot tall old lady....." Gabby stammers. A young lady in a nurse outfit comes in. "Gabby ready to take your medication?" She injects her with a liquid. Gabby winces and rubs her eyes. She looks at the boy and smiles. |
