| . . . F a i t h f u l F a s h i o n P a s s i o n . . . Designer Maresa Esmee has recently begun her new label 'ezmo'. This is a spin off from esmee emerging but concentrates on designing street fashions with a subtle message... It all began in April 2005 when Maresa had an encounter that changed her life. It was a big decision deciding what path to take after GCSEs, and she wanted to take the right one...so she asked God...and He answered! She knew that the right way forward was to study Fashion at Gloscat. Her decision was confirmed when her school didnt accept her into sixth form so she HAD to go to Gloscat to study fashion and photography. In April she got baptised and now is at Gloscat, living her dream, being truly herself and staying on the right path for God. "It Rocks!!" Isnt it funny how at school christians were mocked for wearing their crosses on their blazers? Yet now the latest craze is for everyone to waer cross necklaces. I feel like rushing up to girls in my class (who wear crosses) saying 'so u believe 2!!!???' but they dont. its a fashion. a craze. no meaning. " So me wearing my cross isnt exactly inspiring. I bumped into a street preacher yesterday who was chatting to a non-believer. He asked me if I was religious (no but im a christian!), or woteva, and then asked if I was wearing a cross...but the non-believer was like 'hang on mate, a cross dont mean nuffin, anyone can wear a cross, its all for the look these days.' and hes right. I want a way to express true faith. Something with meaning, but thought provoking too, so that people might just say 'Hmmmmmm' and maybe think about it more then once, but we don't wanna hit them in the face wiv it all...
