My contribution to the DVD world is "U2 In Christchurch, New Zooland on 1-12-1993".

You will find mainly FULL CONCERTS (unless stated) here on DVD and Audio CD, from now on I only want to trade complete shows or it's not the same....
To this end I can even produce full shows, eg: DVD of U2 in Dublin 28-8-1993 didn't have the video confessions in it, so I edited the sound in with no picture as the two camera persons thought in their wisdom, or rather lack of it, not to record the confessions... that was the best part of the show!!

I had lotsa old stuff on VHS cassette, some over 20 years old, I hardly played them cos VHS wears out, I knew in the early 1980's that if they could put audio on digital disc then one day they will do the same with video, VCD was the beginning of that and I put some of my stuff on VCD, however there was a loss of picture quality. When DVD-R arrived I bought a USB capture devise and captured video and burnt to DVD. There was little - if any - loss of audio or sound quality, and it was trial and error for me to learn to burn quality DVD's.

All my DVD's are "Progressive Scan" for best quality, I use single layer "imation" DVD+R's and any burning errors are my fault.

At the end of 2006 I bought a Samsung HDD DVD Recorder to record my stuff, I burn the stuff to DVD-R then rip them onto the computer, edit out the adverts and use "Ulead" software to create the menued DVD+R's that are available for trade right here.

NO DVD's are for sale so don't ask!!! Have a peek and watch more television!!!

Collecting concerts on CD, videoCD's and DVD's, books and magazines of U2 is a fine way to spend ones life! I've been a fan since I saw U2 on "Live Aid" in July 1985 and my love for the famous four Ireland based muzo's has blossomed, I love everything they say, play or do.

I'll warn you against P2P file sharing programs like KAZAA and BEARSHARE etc, you'll get viruses and hackers... you've been warned... I used edonkey, emule, u2torrents and kazaalite (old versions) as they don't contain SPYWARE...
