Physical Description and Characteristics: This bundle of cynicism is a mixture of colors that come out of his own idea of a real kat. His fur is a lighter orange-brown with black tips on either side of his ears, and yellowish eyes stand out over his white face, showing off his "mischievous" side with a rather "evil" grin. As ever mischievous, sarcastic and cynical as he appears to be in attitude, Matrix can prove that he's got a soft spot hidden somewhere in the regions of his hard drive. As many times he may try to hide his feelings, it becomes rather hard when someone relatively close to him is in peril. 

Special Relationships: "Brother" (and everlasting tormentor!!) to Sypher

Past History: "Born" an artificial intelligence, Matrix was one of the many cyber demons created by Dark Kat. His orders were simple: search and destroy. His loyalty  came into question when the SWAT Kats and two Enforcer she-kats, Jessie and her partner Katarina, attacked Dark Kat's ship during an operation to destroy the main computer. That way, Dark Kat would be unable to create more of his cyber demons. 

Ordered to fight the intruders, Matrix merged within the mind of the smaller SWAT Kat, Razor. The battle that ensued had the cyber demon in control of the vigilante's mind, until a second energy being he vaguely knew attacked.   The battle wasn't long, and the other "demon," Sypher, wore him out to the point where he thought he wouldn't survive. 

Matrix "woke up" in a rather active area, only to realize he'd been hiding somewhere in the regions of Sypher's "mind."   At first, he wasn't one willing to live or even admit that he was capable of changing. Sypher's speaking to him (and a few memories he sent to Matrix that he got from Jake) changed that. However, he needed help if he wanted to find his soul. Jake offered to help, but once he was within the regions of Jake's mind, Matrix found he couldn't be that big of a "softie."  Unfortunately, that didn't change. Later to transfer to the regions of Chance's mind, he found the rather cynical and yet cocky personality he was seeking. Deep down, however, an area of caring remained within him, especially the caring he had for those relatively close to him. Eventually, he found his soul. He was complete. 


Present History: After signing up with Sypher, he's currently residing in the MBI's computer, Cyberkat. He helps with everything that is needed when it comes to repairs around headquarters. For the moment, his greatest fear is that of losing his brother, Sypher. Well, there's that, and there's Kaeru and Static. Granted, he won't admit the feelings he's got for Static until he may stick his foot into his mouth at one point.
