Isn't it lovely? Such detail! What an incredible birthday present from my parents!
This is about a foot tall, hand crafted, and incredibly detailed. These are rather expensive (around $130) and disappearing from the market. You can find these at a few select comic stores and I've seen a couple on E-bay.
A map of Middle-Earth is carved on the top of the base. It adds just another level of detail.
But does it look like Orlando?
A lot of people believe it does not. I, on the other hand, believe it has a striking resemblance to him. The nose is a bit too pointed, and the eyes are a tad too small, but all in all, it's pretty impressive.
This is extremely helpful with my fanart. The images can be much more accurate in the display of the details on Legolas' costume and accessories.
