August 2003 Non Scale Victories!:)

August 1, 2003: I started my August Grab Bag Charm Challenge today!:) First video picked out of the grab bag was Walk Away The Pounds 3 Mile Walk. I did it, using weights, and got through it!!:))) I am so proud of myself!!:)))


August 3, 2003: I was in the mood for a hot fudge sundae, due to that "time," but I found a way to make myself a low point one right at home, rather than using any banked points for one else where! I put a Mint Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich in to a bowl, added 2 tbsp of Smucker's Lite fat free hot fudge topping and put 2 tbsp of fat free cool whip on top of it all:) Was so good that I licked the plate clean! LOL:) And it was only 3 points too!!!:))))

August 9, 2003: My belly dancing costume arrived today!!!:))) It's the costume that I will wear in the Cruise talent shows!! First one, this November when we take our Anniversary Cruise, and then again for the March 2004 Cruise when our posting board group goes on the Losin' To Go Cruisin' Group Cruise!! Woo-Hoo!!!:))))

August 15, 2003: Hubby and I went to Pyramids Club in Dallas to watch my belly dancing teacher, and her dance troupe, perform!!!:))) I wore a dress that hasn't fit me in 7 years!!!! Talk about a great feeling!! We had a delicious buffet dinner there, that I banked for ahead of time, and it felt just like hubby and I were dating again!:))) Making plans to go there more often now!!:)))

August 29, 2003: Got to meet one of my best posting board buddies, Wrigley_Digley (Dawn), today and her sweet doggie, Wrigley, too!!:))) We all had a blast together and are all hoping to make plans to get together again!!!:))))

August 30, 2003: Out of state visiting In Laws today. I brought my own low point food and snacks with me and stayed totally On Program the entire visit!!!:)))) Everyone had a nice remark to say about how I looked!:)))

August 31, 2003: Got together with Redrytre and her guy, Wolfgrey, today and had a great time!!!:))) Laughed and talked and laughed some more!!!:))) Can't wait for them to come visit us in Texas!!!!:)))
