The third day of the Cruise found
us in Cozumel, Mexico! Some of us took off shopping, some went scuba diving,
some went in to a submarine and some hit the beach!:) But, no matter what
we all chose to do, a very good time was had by all!:))
When we first arrived in Cozumel, we tendered in to the dock but, by later on that afternoon, our ship had docked at Porta Maya. Here is a picture of our ship docked.
Joy & Billy were sweet enough to let us "old folks" hang with them and the four of us had a blast together! Above is a picture of the fountain at Porta Maya and of them at Pancho's Backyard Grill, where the four of us went for lunch that afternoon! Excellent food and beautiful surroundings there!:)
After shopping till we dropped, we grabbed a taxi and asked the driver to recommend a beach for us to visit. He took us to Playa San Francisco, where we stayed the rest of the afternoon! It was gorgeous!!
You could lay on the beach to your heart's content! It
was not crowded there at all! The bar was so cool! It had bar swings to
sit on and served up Cold Beer for whoever wanted it!
You could get a Massage on the beach or lounge on chairs under shady palm trees!
We swam, built a sandcastle and just developed a great friendship!:)
Oops, I almost forgot, our guys do not want anyone thinking
that "they" worked on a sandcastle,
so I have to make sure y'all know that the men worked
on the "breaker wall," to keep the water from washing away our sandcastle!
LOL:) Tom said if they would have had duct tape that wall would have held
much better than it did!:) LOL:))
