June's Belly Dancing Charm Challenge!

Can I really be at the end of May's Challenge already???
Geez, that month went fast!! Ok, time to get my June Exercise Challenge going then!:)
Being I fell in love with Belly Dancing during my March Challenge, I have decided to move up to the:
Belly Dancing - Fitness For Beginner's- Fat Burning - by Veena & Neena Video Work Out!:)
I will also be taking Egyptian Belly Dancing Classes at a local college on the weekends in June, as well:) So, here come the rules:


Rules and other info:

1.) I am using the Belly Dancing - Fitness For Beginner's- Fat Burning - by Veena & Neena video  ( I bought mine at my local Target store. You can use what ever video you'd like:)

2.) Starting Monday, June 2nd and running until the end of June - do your Belly Dancing Video
     every week day through out that month. Weekends are for what ever other activities you'd like.
    (if you can't do it every week day, then just do it as many times a week as you can, that's ok!)

3.) This time I am working towards earning an Egyptian Charm. Specifically, the Egyptian cat "goddess" Bast (or Bastet), goddess of music, dance, pleasure, and love. Worn for love and happiness.(Yes there is still a Belly Dancer Charm available for purchase at:  Blue Dolphin Gold , as well:)

4.) If you are getting the charm, please remember it does not go on your bracelet, necklace, etc., until
     the end of June, after the Challenge has been completed! :)

5.) Someone will post a thread the start of each week in June for check in on the Newbie Board and
     on the Challenge Central Board. Let everyone know how you are doing then!:)

6.) Fat Burning is a high impact 30 minute work out which gives you 3 Activity Points!!:)

Please feel free to join this fun challenge even if you can't do the video five days a week. We'd love to have you!:) Most of all though everyone - have FUN with it!!:)))

My Challenge rules are the same as last month's - I must exercise every week day through out the month of June in order to earn this charm being placed on to my charm bracelet!:) Weekends are for general activities, like bowling, walking, etc. Check back often as this page will be updated daily!:)

June 3:OMG this video is hard!! Jumping on tip toes, twisting, faster, faster...ahhh!!! LOL :) Ok, so that means that by the end of this challenge, I will be loving this video as much as I loved the past ones! LOL:) Plus I am going to have rock solid legs, as I am already feeling it big time in each calf!:)



June 4: DRAT!!! I am laid up today with two strained calves, so I am forced to take today off from my challenge!!! Ok, I will finish this challenge as soon as my calves allow it, hopefully I can start back up again tomorrow, but I am NOT taking the charm for this challenge, as today has cost me that. So, let's move that charm reward to the end of July, once I complete my belly dancing class at the college:)


June 6: Calves are doing much better this morning, so I am back to exercising daily once more!!:)) Never knew how much energy exercising really gives me until I had to stop doing it for two days. Felt so tired most of the day yesterday and hated it! Back to my work out this morning!!:))))
