I thought it might help some people out if I listed what exercise videos I have used in the past few months, and am using now, and the results I have seen with them. Please keep in mind that everyone is different so everyone's results may be different than mine.
Also please take note of which ones I recommend for beginner's and which ones I don't. Being I have been doing monthly exercise challenges since February of 2003, some videos are more advanced now and should not be used by people just starting out with an exercise routine. It is also a good idea to consult your doctor before starting any strenuous exercising, if you have not been exercising for a while. Ok, with all that said, here you go:

I found it easy to keep up with it as some moves are like the ones I have learned in belly dancing!:) | I just started this on Jan. 1, 2004, so I haven't seen results yet but I can tell you that this video really works your body!! It also makes you feel great while doing it!! While I have been doing various work out tapes, at various levels, for a year now, I can tell you that this one makes me sweat and breath heavy! |
Walk Away The Pounds Videos By Leslie Sansone 1, 2, 3 Mile walks (There are some of her walking videos that use an Ab belt but I used the ones without. I did use weights) | Length varies with each video 1 mile is 18 mins. | 1 Mile is for beginner's, then you can slowly work up to other ones. | I felt and saw a difference in my legs almost immediately! They started to tone up and developed some definition! I still love using these videos! No bad weather to stop you! |
Walk Away The Pounds 4 Mile Express - Super Challange By Leslie Sansone | 55 Minute Super Charged work out!! | Definately for the advanced! When the 3 mile starts to feel "too easy," then this is the one for you! | Fast paced! Upbeat music! No weights or stretchie bands needed! This work out will make you sweat! I felt this one immediately in my legs! Great for fat burning and for toning as well!! |
Basic Moves Belly Dancing by Veena and Neena | 30 minute workout | This is the one I recommend for beginner's!:) | This video toned up my hips, waist, abs, arms & even got rid of my "turkey neck!" Fun, upbeat workout! I love it!!:)) |
Fat Burn Belly Dancing by Veena and Neena | 45 minute workout | Advanced!!!
Moves can cause injury to calves. |

Hula Workout for Beginner's by Kili (This is NOT the slow hula seen in movies, it is Hula Rock!) | 45 minute workout | Beginner's but go SLOW at first. Don't push it. | This toned up my legs, hips and arms! Some moves are hard to get at first but come in time. |
Hula Weight Loss Workout by Kili (Again, NOT the slow hula!) | 30 minute workout | This is great after first one is done! | Really worked my legs, hips and arms & gave me great balance!! |
Jamaica Me S'wet workout (This video is definitely for the younger "clubbing" crowd. The dance moves are fast, hard to keep up with and almost impossible to learn) | 45 minute | Advanced, and only if you go to night clubs a lot! | I did not like this video. Way too fast paced to even be able to keep up with and no instructions given so that you could even attempt it. I can see a lot of possible injuries here. |
Belly Dance Your Way To Fitness by Amira Mor | 45 minute | Advanced, best if you are taking classes first. | I really liked this video! Moves are shown, and explained, in detail and there is even some free dance time at the end! |
