January 2003 Non Scale
Victories!
January 5, 2003: First weigh in of the New Year and NO
Holiday gain!!! In fact, had 3 pound loss!!:) I feel so proud of myself!
I made my Holiday Plan out ahead of time and stuck to it! Now I get to
say good-bye to the 170's as well:))))
January 5 - 11, 2003: Spent the week in San Antonio with
my hubby:) Hubby packed a suitcase full of friendly point items for me
to take along!:) Took: reduced calorie bread, reduced fat peanut butter,
grape jelly, special k berry bars, fat free saltine crackers, laughing
cow cheese, ms. meringue cookies, tootsie roll pops, pre measured bowls
of lucky charms cereal, bananas, apples, grapes, cup a soups, and took
a cooler along with diet sugar free jello in it, caffeine free diet coke
and skim milk! That way I could avoid the hotel donuts and danish and stick
to program!! Met Mittyneal while I was there and she showed me another
point friendly restaurant that I can eat at!!:)) Walked almost everywhere
we went! Lots of AP's!
January 26, 2003: Super Bowl Sunday! Hubby and I went
grocery shopping and I was happy knowing that I could have almost anything
I wanted, during the big game, for dinner that night! I had 13 points figured
in for dinner and had 8 extra banked points as well :) Well, my non scale
victory here was the fact that I didn't want the old foods that I ate before
joining Weight Watcher's! In fact, when I put the info from one of my past
favorite foods in to my points calculator, I saw it was 9 points for one
serving! NINE! I dropped that box like it was on fire! LOL :) Ended up
having a 6 point meal that night after all:) And, even after having a couple
of Super Bowl goodies, I still ended up with points in the bank that night!
This really opened my eyes and showed me that my eating habits really have
changed!! :)
January 27, 2003: Tried on my women's size 14 jeans and
they buttoned and zippered today!!:))) Still too tight to wear comfortably...
but this is as close to wearing them as I have gotten in almost 3 years!!:)))
