March 2003 Non Scale Victories!
Ok, I don't usually place photos on my NSV pages but this is one of the best Non Scale Victories I can think of !:)

This is the Wedding Dress I wore when my Hubby and I got married on November 30, 1996. Going on 7 years ago this November. 

I tried it on today, March 1, 2003, and it FIT again!!!:))))

March 8, 2003: Stopped at a local Walgreen's with my hubby. Noticed a huge table stocked high with Girl Scout Cookies at the entrance of the store. Took a deep breath and went right past it - twice!:) Didn't stop, didn't even pause!!:))) Rewarded myself with a 2 point Mint Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich when we got back home!:) In the past, I would have downed boxes of thin mints but not anymore!:))))

March 10, 2003: Had 2 NSV's today!:) First was when my hubby and I were walking in to the movie theater, I happened to glance down at the parking lot and I had to stop a second, when I noticed that I could see all the way down to my feet - without my stomach blocking the view!! LOL :) Then, later when we were grocery shopping, I walked up to the cashier and found a bowl of Cadbury Creme and Caramel Eggs staring me in the face at the check out! Eeks! These candy eggs were always my down fall in the past! I used to eat them one right after another!! But not this time:) I quickly turned to my hubby, told him what was going on and he made small talk with me to keep my mind off them. Then, as we stepped up to pay for the groceries, he made it so I ended up standing at the end of the check out aisle, while he positioned himself by the candy egg bowl, blocking it from my view!:) I love the support I get from him!:) Once in the car, I grabbed a 1 point tootsie roll pop out of my pocket, figured that point in to my points calculator, and enjoyed my sweet treat on our way home!:) Huge NSV for me!!!:)))))

March 14, 2003: Hubby had to work late tonight so I had my point friendly dinner while he was at work. After work, he brought home McDonald's for himself and it didn't bother me at all:) Not the smell of it and not even the sight of it!:) Yeah for me!!!:)))

March 16, 2003: Saved points for a Cadbury Cream Egg and had one today:) Tasted great:) When I printed off my journal that night, I noticed I still had the same number of saved points left, because I figured my candy treat in to my daily points!!:) Yee-Haw!!:)) That candy egg tasted even better once I realized that I didn't even use my saved points on it after all!!:)) LOL:)))

March 17, 2003: St. Patty's Day - My size 13/14 jean shorts zipped up and buttoned this morning!!:)) OMG!! They have never fit, since the day I first bought them and now they do!!!:))))

March 18, 2003: Hubby called me in to the computer room to show me a picture of me in Miami, which was taken in October of 2001, one year before I started Weight Watcher's. OMG!! Was that really ME?? I have put that photo up on my photo page and I swear my face looked just like Miss Piggy's! LOL!:)
Hubby said that my face is where people can really see a visible difference and I think that even he was a little surprised at just how much my appearance has changed!:)))

March 19, 2003: I tried on a pair of pink jeans that I bought three years ago. They never fit me from the first day I bought them, but they fit today!!! Woo-Hoo!!!!:))))) I have been wearing them all day long and, yes, there is a photo of me wearing them on my photo page now too!:)))) I am so proud of ME!:)))

March 24, 2003: Hubby took a picture of me in my old size 20W jean overalls. We compared it to a picture of me from Sept. 2002 (one month before starting on program) and we could not believe the difference!!! Woo-Hoo!!! They fall off me now!! LOL :))) You can find the side by side pics on my photo page!:)

March 26, 2003: Two NSV's for me today!!:))) First, I got an e-mail from my Mother In Law and the subject line read "Hi Skinny." :)))) OMG that made me feel SO good!!:))) Then, this afternoon, I walked up to our local Subway to grab lunch and walked back home again. My pedometer read two point three miles!!:)) I really can not tell you how great it feels to be able to go outside walking again!!!:))) I am So Proud of myself today!!:))))

March 27, 2003: Yee-Haw!!! My Dallas Desperados shirt fits me now!!! :::happy dancing::: :) Watch for upcoming photos of me wearing it to a Desperado game in May!!!:)))
