Sample Menus For Two Days

I think one of my major Pet Peeves, since starting Weight Watcher's, is when people tell me that they don't want to start this program because they would have to "give up" the food they like. Or they try to tell me what foods I can and can't have. For example: "Look Megan, there's a candy store, you can't have candy!" Gimme a break!:) I can have what ever I want on this program! I just have to know how to account for it and how to have it in moderation.

So if you, or someone you know, is thinking about starting Weight Watcher's but are worried about what foods they will be eating, then take a glance at two days picked randomly from my Journal. One during the week and one on a weekend!

Ok, so now you're saying, "Yeah, well, she can't go out to eat though!" Wrong! Here's a partial list of just some of the places we have gone out to eat at:

Subway: 6" wheat, turkey, no cheese, with lettuce and tomatoes
Chili's Restaurant: Guiltless Chicken Sandwich
McDonald's: Cheeseburger Happy Meal (small cheeseburger, small fry) (free toy is bonus <grin>)
Great Steak Escape: 7" wheat steak sandwich with cheese, mushrooms, onions, gr. peppers
Applebee's: 1/2 of a Low Fat Chicken Quesidilla
Sonic: Kid's Chicken Strip Meal (3 small chicken strips, small frys)

And now we are back to the "But you can't have candy!" arguement, right? Oh yes I can! For example:

1 tootsie roll pop
Charms blow pop
1 milky way lite candy bar
Snack size bag of whoppers malted milk balls
Hershey's assorted miniature candies
5 Hershey kisses

Bottom line: it's all done in moderation! This program has taught me to make better food choices and it has taught me how to eat healthier!

So,...... now that I have taken the time to show you just exactly what types of food items you CAN eat on this program.... what's your excuse for not joining? :)))))
