October 2003 Non Scale
Victories!:)
Wow, I just realized that I never
got my October 2003 NSV page put together and up on my site! Talk about
being too busy off-line!!! LOL:))) Sorry about that everyone!:)
While I can't remember exact dates
of things that have happened now, I can give an over view of October happenings,
so here we go:
This month I am finding
that my 7/8 jeans are starting to get baggy! I am going to be buying a
size 5/6 next time I go shopping, which will probably be later on this
weekend (Nov. 8th) !!!:)))) I am Super Excited, as I have never worn a
5/6 Ever!!!:))) I will be putting up photos of me in them as soon as I
get them! LOL:)
Hubby also bought me
my first "Clubbing Shirt" to wear when we go to Pyramids night club in
Dallas!!:) It's a small black sexy shirt that we bought in the Junior's
Department of JCPenneys!:)))
My third Belly Dancing
class also came to an end this month. I now have off for the Holidays and
I start my fourth class in January!:)))
I went shopping for
new clothes for our Anniversary clothes this month too!!:))) I bought a
long, slinky, red, shiny dress and a blue shimmery short dress, both in
the Juniors Department again!!!:))) I also bought some small capri pants
and a couple small tops to go with them! First time I picked clothes off
the rack, tried them on, and had them fit the first time too!!!:))))
Then I went in to Frederick's
of Hollywood, to get something playful for our Anniversary night!:) Found
a small white bride's gown lingerie item and tried it on. Had to try on
the next size down, as the large did NOT fit!!! Bought a MEDIUM instead!!!
Woo-Hoo!!!:)))) Comes with long white veil and I bought a pair of thigh
high white stockings to go with it! Can't wait to knock hubby's eyes out!!
LOL:))))
Saw the Gap and -
remembering back to when I walked in one years back only to have a thin
snotty saleswoman tell me that I was in the wrong store because they didn't
carry "my size" - I grinned and walked right in the door of this one! Saleswoman
came up and asked me if she could help me find anything!! Woo-Hoo!!! Victory!!!
LOL:)))) I looked around but decided not to buy anything due to the way
the last Gap treated me in the past!:) Proud moment for me!!:)))
Stopped in one last
store on way out of the mall, as a slinky red latex dress caught my eye:)
Ohh, thoughts of the tv show, "Alias," came to mind! LOL:) Saleswoman runs
up and tells me she has that in my size! I laughed and asked her what size
she thought I was and she replied "Small!" I hugged her right there and
then!!! LOL!!!! But, when I tried it on, it was too big!!! Yee-Haw!!!!!:))))
She told me I could not shop in
that store, as that was the smallest size they had and all the rest of
their stuff would be too big on me too!!! I have never been happier with
my mall experience than I was that day!!!!:)))))))
My wonderful hubby
bought me a 5 foot stuffed teddy bear (which I named "Rupert" after our
favorite Survivor!:). Being I had been struggling with a plateau for a
while, hubby got "Rupert" for me so that he could handle all my big problems,
(like stress from family members, illness from double ear infection, etc.),
leaving me free to concentrate on getting to Goal once more! LOL:)
This was the month
that I wore my I Dream Of Jeannie costume for Halloween too!!!:))) Felt
so great to be able to buy what they call a "Standard" size costume and
not have to worry about it fitting! LOL:))
I also got through
Halloween with no problems, candy wise, too!:) Had a snack size candy bar
and a tootsie roll pop and both were figured in to my daily points!:))))
Ok, on to making November's
NSV page now so that I can keep that one up to date better! LOL:)))
