I sometimes hear people say "I just don't have time to exercise." Well, while you might not have the time to go to the gym as much as you'd like, you still always have time to exercise! Don't believe me??
Did you know that even simple Daily Tasks can be exercise??:) For example:
1.) Instead of using that electric
can opener, use a hand held one instead!
2.) Use a hand held whisk, when
ever possible, instead of the electric beaters!
3.) Don't let your dog out in the
yard to do his business, take him for a walk!
4.) Are you using the escalator
at the mall?? Why not use the stairs?!
5.) Let someone else have that
"prime parking spot" by the front door. Park further away and walk in!
6.) Looking for something to do
with the kids? Go outside or to a park! Throw a frisbee or catch a ball!
7.) Rearrange the furniture in
a room or clean out the garage!
8.) Mow the lawn, do some yard
work, gardening, or trim the hedges!
9.) Take one bag of trash out at
a time, even if you have more! The extra trips get more walking in!
10.) Have a local store nearby?
On nice days, walk to it instead of driving!
11.) Going to the mall? Go early
& walk inside before stores open! Window shop for what you will buy!
12.) Wash the kitchen or bathroom
floor the "old fashioned way," with a scrub brush!
13.) When taking a break at work,
get up and go for a walk around the building, inside or outside!
14.) Take your vehicle to the kind
of car wash where you wash it yourself!
15.) Watching t.v. at night? Lift
light hand weights while sitting on the couch!
16.) When you are bored at home,
and have nothing to do, get in the car and go to a store and shop! I go
to for excursion to a place like Walmart, Target or Kmart. (Thanks Miabear123

17.) Have small kids? Chasing after
them & picking up after them IS exercise, too! LOL :)
