#3: Floors *updated*
The floors are 11
1/2 by 16 3/4.
Pretty basic; made from cheap wood we got from Lowes (and cut by my Grandpa).
I actually loooove making floors. They are very time-consuming
but after they are sanded and stained, they never disappoint me! This
is pre-sanding and staining. It took a couple of hours to cut and glue
them all.

Stained (Dark Walnut)! Yah!
This is actually the bottom of the second floor (aka
the ceiling of the first floor)... You can already tell what it looked
like pre-sticks.
They are supposed to be like beams but not solid beams,
just decoration. On the sides I have two wood pieces nailed to the wall
to balance the second floor, so I'm trying to blend them in better with
these "beams." So this is the ceiling part. Not too bad.

PART 2 second floor |
Attached the bathroom floor (tile -bought at Home Depot for 99 cents!) and started the wood floor for the bedroom. Sticks purchased at AC Moore for only a couple bucks and have used throughout the house... |
The next day, I'm still working on the floor. I have the wall divider in for reference. |
Finished the floor! Now for sanding and staining... |
I stained the floor using the same Dark Walnut stain as everything else... |
